| There are two hobbies that I would
never give up if they were to become illegal. The first one would be hunting
deer. Hunting is too much of a thrill to be giving up. You get up early
in the morning. The frost is still on the ground and you're walking to your
blind or stand. You get there and sit waiting 'til day light hits. As it
does, you see the first movement through the woods, the excitement of seeing
what it is as it gets closer. If it's a buck, you pull up your gun, aim,
and fire. When it takes off you watch where it runs to and listen to see
if it falls down. Sitting there, heart pounding, you wait for a couple to
make sure it's dead. After waiting, you get out and look for a blood trail
and follow it. You walk up to your deer laying there. |

| My lifted truck is the other thing I would
never give up. It's so much fun being able to go through mud, go up to the
dunes, and sit higher than most people do. Having a lifted truck gives you
the rep as a hick or farm boy. That's basically what I am, though, so it
don't really bother me. A lot of the preppy kids have nice lifted trucks
and know nothing about them. Having a big motor to spin big tires is what
you need to have. So if either of these were to become illegal, I wouldn't
ever give them up, no matter what. |
