One of my favorite pets is Zeus. He is a German Shorthair. Zeus is so cute. He's brown and white, kind of looks like a Dalmatian and a brown cow mixed, although he isn't fat like a cow. He has yellowish brown big puppy dog eyes. He is a pretty good-sized dog. He is probably about 2 1/2 feet tall. He is a hunting dog, but he is gun shy. When Zeus hears loud noises he pees from one end of the house to the other, all over big puddles and everything! Sometimes he just gets all shaky like a leaf in a tornado and he has to sit under a table or under someone's legs. Something of that sort.He wouldn't be gun shy if we had raised him from being a puppy.

I always used to sleep with Zeus because I felt safe and comfortable. I knew he was there. It took me a long time to get used to not being able to sleep with him when I got my new bed. That shows your how much this dog means to me. I love him like he's my kid. He is still alive and I still love him to death and he still loves me. Sometimes he cries by my door when I am gone. Sometimes we go for walks. But Zeus is a really energetic dog. He pulls a lot. When he pulls it's because of a rabbit or a squirrel. When he pulls he chokes himself.

We got him when he was 1 or 2. Now he is like 9 ½ and still young. He doesn't listen very well to anyone except me. He doesn't even listen when they tell him to sit or lay down either! When I just want him to come over to me so I can pet him or whatever I am nice and gentle sounding. I call him Zeuser Dog, but when I am mad or trying to tell him a command I am stern. Not mean but stern enough so he knows that I am serious and he needs to obey although sometimes I do have to yell at him. When I have to yell at him I just call him Zeus.

Sometimes he even throws up. You know when he's going to throw up because he gags and coughs a lot then his mouth gets all close to the ground and puke starts pouring out as he brings his mouth up slowly off the ground.
