White Early Childhood Center

White Early Childhood Center provides a wide range of services for about 150 Sparta preschool children, including tuition & grant funded preschool programs and special education programs and services. In addition, we offer the "Parents As Teachers" program for parents of children ages 0-5.

The staff at White is dedicated to early childhood education and intervention.
We believe that:

• Children learn and thrive in a safe, secure environment.
• The emotional and behavioral well-being of each child must be addressed by all members of the partnership.
• Each child grows at different rates in developmental stages that are sequential and continuous.
• Family involvement and support is a major factor in a child’s success.
• A continuous evaluation system must assess each child’s progress and our program quality.

For many parents, White Early Childhood Center is the first step in getting to know Sparta Area Schools. We welcome families to get to know us and to join us in the many parent/family activities we host throughout the year. These range from fun get-togethers to workshops and conferences on parenting.
